Reasons to Vote

Dr. Rey Gonzalez, Jr. is a native of the Rio Grande Valley and a public servant seeking to represent south Texas in the United States Congress. He is a graduate of Baylor University and holds a medical degree (M.D.) from Ross University School of Medicine and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Dayton.

With experience in medical science and a former adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Brownsville, Dr. Gonzalez understands the need for better educational opportunity and affordable access to health care in South Texas.

  • Captain, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary
  • Diplomate, American Board of Legal Medicine
  • Active Member of his church for over 25 years

Dr. Rey Gonzalez’s Priority is to represent you and your traditional, timeless values in Washington. At a time when standing for morality is condemned while corruption is overlooked, let us, together, take Dr. Gonzalez’s message to the Hall of Congress to proclaim that we, the People, still believe that some decisions have both immediate and eternal consequences.
